So apparently, I've fallen into the habit of not blogging anymore. Instagram has so much instant gratification. A short blog and vlog (that's video log for you not with-it in the lingo) wrapped all in one photo is just too great to pass over. Especially when you're a mother juggling full time motherhood and going to school for medical assisting. I have been BrainParts on Twitter for the longest time. I hope I can continue blogging once again to hone and keep my writing skills on point.
The primary reason this blog was started was to start doing reviews. I could not decide if I wanted to do reviews on local food spots. We have YELP! and Chowhound for those, who's going to accidentally stumble onto my blog and find it more useful than those two other tools?

Anyway, today's blog is about this nifty website called Tomoson. It hooks you up to sellers of all kinds who are looking to send you a product in exchange for your genuine review and promotion. I have indeed received an item from the Matisse Corporation. I purchased it off AMAZON.COM with a promotional code that reduced the price of the item to $0.00. It was shipped to me free of charge with my Amazon Prime account and arrived within 2 days of purchase.
So cute.
Bonus: Came with mounting tools!
The product arrived well packaged and I loved that it was small. It literally fit on the palm of my hand, I could already see a hundred potential uses for it. Due to the fact that it was square and not round, it could be placed almost on any flat surface and the illumination was so strong and spread out! I can genuinely say that this item would have been on my buy list if I did not already receive it for free. I placed it in my kitchen larder, and it was wonderfully bright.
Lit up the whole larder
Teen Brain and Baby Brain stole it though, and placed it in their bathroom so that they could maneuver around at night without turning on the main light and blinding themselves. Smart Brains I have. All in all, for the price paid, this item is very useful and welcome in our household. It takes 3 AAA batteries and I'm hoping it will last for awhile before the battery needs changing. I am pretty sure the batteries will go far, as the motion sensor is not overly sensitive, and does activate properly when someone is there.
It definitely helps the boys
